Ingredients
  

Base Layer
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar Packed
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Filling
  • 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Any variety
  • 1 cup chopped nuts Walnuts, pecans, or your choice
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and brown sugar, mixing until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract to the butter mixture.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour until a dough-like consistency is achieved.
  5. Spread half of the dough evenly across the bottom of the baking dish, pressing down firmly.
Layering
  1. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the dough layer.
  2. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
  3. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
  4. Crumble the remaining dough over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  2. Let cool in the pan before slicing.
