  • ½ cup flour All-purpose or whole wheat.
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray For crisping up the tenders.
Optional Add-ins
  • Parmesan cheese For a cheesy kick.
  • Paprika or cayenne pepper For added heat.

Preparation
  1. Cut chicken breasts into strips and pat them dry using paper towels.
  2. Gather three shallow bowls: one for flour mixed with salt and pepper, another for beaten eggs, and the third for breadcrumbs combined with garlic and onion powder.
  3. Optional: Add parmesan cheese and spices to the breadcrumb mixture.
Coating the Chicken
  1. Dredge each chicken piece in flour, shaking off excess.
  2. Dip into the egg mixture, letting extra drip off.
  3. Coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing breadcrumbs gently to adhere.
Cooking
  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and spray chicken tenders with cooking spray.
  2. Arrange tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  4. Let rest for a minute before serving.
