Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or fresh) Use 1 tablespoon fresh thyme if preferred.

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces halibut fillets (about 6 ounces each) Can substitute with cod or sea bass.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper to prepare the marinade.
  3. Place the halibut fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and pour the marinade over the fish to ensure it's fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Bake the halibut in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is golden in color.
  2. Remove from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fish for added flavor.
