Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin by greasing it or lining with paper liners.

- In another bowl, beat the egg, then add buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well blended.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix to keep the muffins fluffy.
- Fold in the blueberries gently, avoiding breaking them too much.
Baking
- Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about three-quarters full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
