Mixing
- In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and the remaining 3 cups of water.
- Add the strained basil simple syrup to this mixture and stir well.
- Adjust the sweetness if desired by adding more syrup or sugar as needed.
Serving
- Serve the basil lemonade over ice cubes, garnished with lemon slices and additional fresh basil leaves.
