- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned (5-7 minutes).
- If needed, drain excess fat, then add sliced onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until onions soften.
- Add chopped cabbage (and any additional vegetables), stir well, and cook for 5-7 minutes until cabbage is tender but still crunchy.
- Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and allow flavors to meld for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
