  • 1 each banana Can be fresh or frozen.
  • 1 cup spinach or kale For added greens.
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Use a non-dairy alternative for a vegan version.
  • 1 cup almond milk Or any milk of your choice.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup Optional, adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • as needed ice cubes For a frosty texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the beet by roasting or boiling until tender, then peel and dice it.
  2. Gather all ingredients: the cooked beet, banana, leafy greens, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey or agave syrup, and ice cubes.
Blending
  1. Add the beet, banana, leafy greens, Greek yogurt, and almond milk to a blender.
  2. Drizzle in the honey or agave syrup if desired, then add the ice cubes.
  3. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides.
  4. Once the desired consistency is achieved, pour the smoothie into a glass.

Notes
