Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond milk (or your choice of milk) Can be substituted with any milk type.
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (optional for extra creaminess) For a vegan option, substitute with plant-based yogurt or omit.
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (frozen can work too) Frozen blueberries can be used but may release more juice.
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • a pinch salt
  • Optional toppings: crushed graham crackers, whipped cream, or additional blueberries

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather a medium-sized mixing bowl and add in the rolled oats, almond milk, Greek yogurt, and maple syrup. Stir gently to combine until the oats are fully immersed in the liquid.
  2. Fold in the fresh blueberries, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt ensuring the blueberries are evenly distributed.
  3. Transfer the oat mixture into mason jars or airtight containers. Seal them tightly and pop them in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serving Suggestions
  1. When morning arrives, unveil your chilled oats and give them a good stir. Add a splash of almond milk if needed.
  2. Top with additional blueberries, a dollop of Greek yogurt, or sprinkle some crushed graham crackers for added crunch.
