  • 1 each package instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the brownie mix box.
  2. Grease or line your 9x13 pan with parchment paper.
  3. Whip up the brownie mix in a large bowl with ingredients called for on the box such as eggs, water, and oil.
  4. Pour the batter into the pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake according to the box instructions, usually around 20 to 25 minutes, until edges pull slightly from the pan and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  6. Let the brownies cool completely.
Making the Pudding
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk the instant pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk for about 2 minutes until thickened.
  2. Set the pudding aside in the refrigerator to chill.
Making the Chocolate Glaze
  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, butter, and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir gently until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
Assembly
  1. Spread the chilled pudding mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
  2. Drizzle the warm chocolate glaze over the pudding layer.
  3. If desired, use a piping bag for a more decorative touch.
