Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 large loaf large loaf of crusty bread (French or sourdough)
  • 8 oz Brie cheese Feel free to substitute with Camembert for a different flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped Or 1 tablespoon dried rosemary.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Optional for a flavor kick.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Honey for drizzling Optional but recommended.
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling Optional enhancement.
Optional Add-Ins
  • Swap rosemary for thyme or oregano For a different herby profile.
  • Chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans For an extra crunch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Using a serrated knife, create a series of diagonal cuts across the top of the crusty bread, careful not to cut all the way through. This creates pockets for the Brie.
  3. Slice the Brie cheese into wedges and insert it into the cuts made in the bread.
  4. Sprinkle in chopped rosemary, minced garlic, and season with salt and pepper as you fill the bread with cheese.
  5. Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the stuffed loaf.
  6. Wrap the filled loaf in aluminum foil, sealing it tightly, and place it on a baking tray.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the oven for about 15–20 minutes, or until the bread is warmed through and the Brie is gooey.
  2. Carefully unwrap the foil and drizzle honey or balsamic glaze on top if desired.
