Frying
- Heat the oil in a deep pot or heavy skillet to about 375°F (190°C).
- Using a small cookie scoop or your hands, carefully drop spoonfuls of dough into the hot oil, avoiding overcrowding.
- Fry the doughnut holes for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- Using a slotted spoon, transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
