Preparation
- Generously season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder, ensuring the chicken is evenly coated.
Cooking
- Heat two tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Once melted, add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to rest.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat and add the remaining two tablespoons of butter, allowing it to melt and scrape up the browned bits from the bottom.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer in the buttery sauce for a couple of minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice.

Notes
Pairs well with fluffy white rice, creamy mashed potatoes, or a light salad. Experiment with smoked paprika for extra smokiness, or use tofu/chickpeas for a vegan option. Marinate chicken the night before for enhanced flavors.
