  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 ripe banana, frozen for creaminess
  • 1 cup almond milk or any milk of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • a pinch nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon rolled oats optional, for thickness
  • to taste Ice cubes optional, for a colder smoothie

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chopped carrot in your blender.
  2. Add the frozen banana and your choice of almond milk.
  3. Drizzle in the maple syrup and sprinkle in the cinnamon and nutmeg.
  4. If you want a thicker consistency, add the rolled oats.
  5. Blend everything until smooth, pausing to scrape down the sides if needed.
  6. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more milk until it reaches your desired consistency.
  7. For an extra chill, add a few ice cubes and blend once more.
