Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 piece ripe banana (preferably frozen for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter (or almond butter for a twist)
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (plant-based options recommended)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy like almond or oat)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (for that extra chocolate richness)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on your sweetness preference)
  • as needed cubes ice cubes (optional, to thicken your smoothie)

Method

Preparation
  1. Toss the ripe banana into your blender. If it's fresh, cut it into chunks.
  2. Add the peanut butter to provide creamy texture and nutty flavor.
  3. Follow with the scoop of chocolate protein powder and cocoa powder.
  4. Pour in your choice of milk. You can try coconut milk for a tropical flavor.
  5. Add a sweetener if desired.
  6. For a thicker smoothie, toss in ice cubes.
  7. Blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined and the desired consistency is reached.
  8. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more milk.

Notes

Feel free to add frozen berries for a fruity twist or sneak in spinach for extra nutrients without altering the taste. For a vegan option, use plant-based milk and protein powder. Enjoy fresh for best flavor but you can prep ingredients in advance for quick blending in the morning.
