  • 1 piece banana frozen works well

  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup adjust based on sweetness preference
  • as needed cubes ice for thickness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients.
  2. In a blender, combine the banana, coconut milk, and pineapple. Optionally, add spinach.
  3. Blend the mixture on high until it becomes velvety smooth, about one minute.
  4. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more coconut milk or a couple of ice cubes.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup, then blend again briefly.
  6. Pour the smoothie into a tall glass and top with shredded coconut or fresh fruit slices if desired.
