Ingredients

Chicken Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings (fresh or frozen) If using frozen, make sure to thaw them first.
Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder For extra crispiness.
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Smoked or regular, depending on preference.
Optional Sauces
  • buffalo sauce, barbecue sauce, or a dry rub For extra flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove moisture.
  2. In a large bowl, sprinkle baking powder, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika over the wings. Toss gently until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring enough space between them.
  3. Cook the wings for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Check the internal temperature has reached 165°F (75°C) for doneness.
  5. If desired, toss the cooked wings in your favorite sauce and return them to the air fryer for an additional 5 minutes to let the sauce set.
