Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and optional sugar. Whisk to combine.
  3. Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the yogurt and olive oil or melted butter.
  4. Gently combine the ingredients until the dough begins to take shape.
Kneading and Shaping
  1. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and gently knead for one to two minutes until smooth.
  2. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased 9-inch loaf pan.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
