  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth, leaving a few chunks for texture.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Mix in the sugar, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt until just blended.
  5. Gradually add in the all-purpose flour and ground cinnamon, mixing until the batter is thick.
  6. Fold in optionally added nuts or chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
