Dough Preparation
- Combine warm milk and sugar in a bowl. Sprinkle yeast over and let sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour along with melted butter and eggs. Mix until a dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm spot for about an hour or until doubled in size.
Shaping and Frying
- After the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out to about ½ inch thickness.
- Use a round cutter to cut out doughnuts and place them on a floured surface to rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a large pot to 375°F (190°C). Carefully drop doughnuts in, frying a few at a time for about 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer fried doughnuts to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Filling and Serving
- Fill cooled doughnuts using a pastry bag or filling injector with your favorite flavor.
- Roll filled doughnuts in powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness.

Notes
Feel free to experiment with different fillings like citrus-infused cream or pumpkin spice. For a healthier option, consider baking the doughnuts.
