Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (skinless or skin-on, your choice)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted You can use ghee for a dairy-free option.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried) Other herbs like dill or thyme can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice Adds refreshing zing.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place salmon fillets in the greased baking dish and coat the tops with the garlic butter mixture.
Cooking
  1. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  2. Remove from the oven and drizzle with additional melted butter from the dish and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.

Notes

For a plant-based version, substitute salmon with marinated tofu or portobello mushrooms, and use olive oil instead of butter. You can prep the garlic butter mix in advance.
