  • 1/2 cup Butter Can substitute with vegan margarine for a dairy-free option.
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar Light or dark, based on preference.
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour Substitute with gluten-free blend if needed.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Use pure extract for a richer flavor.
  • 1 cup Toffee chips For added crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, melt your butter, then stir in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  3. Slowly add your flour and salt into the mixture, ensuring a smooth and thick batter.
  4. Fold in half of the toffee chips.
  5. Spread the batter into your prepared pan and sprinkle the rest of the toffee chips on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  2. Check with a toothpick to ensure a few moist crumbs, but not wet batter.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Once baked, allow the bars to cool before cutting them into squares.
