Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined fresh or thawed frozen
  • 1/4 cup honey wildflower honey for richer flavor
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced or use garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low-sodium options if needed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or sesame oil for a nutty flavor
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice for a zesty touch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and lemon juice to create the glaze.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes without stirring to achieve a golden color.
  4. Flip the shrimp and pour the honey garlic mixture over them, stir gently to coat, and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Once the shrimp are pink and opaque, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
