Ingredients
  

For the Tea
  • 4 cups water For boiling
  • 4 bags green tea bags Or your favorite loose-leaf green tea blend
  • 1/4 cup fresh ginger, sliced More if you like an extra kick!
  • 1 whole orange, zested and juiced For flavor
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup Adjust to taste, can substitute with a vegan sweetener.
  • 1 cup ice cubes For serving
  • to taste fresh mint leaves For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a kettle.
  2. Once boiling, remove it from heat and add the green tea bags and sliced ginger.
  3. Allow the mixture to steep for about 5 minutes, depending on your strength preference.
  4. Remove the tea bags and strain out the ginger slices.
  5. Stir in the orange juice, zest, and sweetener until well combined.
  6. Let the mixture cool to room temperature before refrigerating.
  7. Once chilled, pour the tea into glasses filled with ice cubes.
  8. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
