  • 1 pound Fish Fillets (like cod, tilapia, or salmon)
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Unsalted for a milder flavor.
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice From 1 lemon.
  • 1 lemon Lemon Zest From 1 lemon.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • for garnish Fresh Parsley Chopped.
  • a pinch Red pepper flakes Optional for a spicy kick.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Zest and juice your lemon.
Cooking
  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Cook the fish fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden color is achieved and the fish flakes easily with a fork. Season with salt and pepper during cooking.
  4. Push the cooked fish to one side of the skillet, then add the remaining butter, lemon juice, and zest to the empty side. Let them bubble together for 1-2 minutes before combining with the fish.
  5. Sprinkle fresh parsley and optional red pepper flakes before serving.

Notes
