Magic Shell Frozen Yogurt Bites

Deliciously indulgent, these Magic Shell Frozen Yogurt Bites combine creamy yogurt with a crunchy chocolate coating for a refreshing treat.

Ingredients
  

Yogurt Base
  • 2 cups plain or Greek yogurt Feel free to use dairy-free alternatives
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup For sweetness, adjust to taste
Chocolate Coating
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Semi-sweet or dark
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil To help the chocolate melt smoothly
Optional Toppings
  • crushed nuts
  • sprinkles
  • shredded coconut

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the yogurt with honey or maple syrup in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Using a small scoop or spoon, drop dollops of the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space in between each.
  4. Freeze the tray for about 1 to 2 hours, or until the yogurt bites are solid.
Chocolate Coating
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil.
  2. Microwave until smooth, stirring in between.
  3. Dip each frozen yogurt bite into the melted chocolate and place it back on the tray.
  4. Add toppings if desired before the chocolate sets.
  5. Return the tray to the freezer for another 15-30 minutes until the chocolate hardens.

Notes
