Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). If using fresh peaches, peel and slice them before placing them in a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle cinnamon over the peaches if desired.
  3. Evenly sprinkle granulated sugar over the peaches.
  4. Open the box of yellow cake mix and sprinkle it generously over the peach layer.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the entire mixture without smoothing it out.
