  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs (or alternative crust like Oreo)
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
For the filling
  • 1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter (optional: almond butter for variation)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 1 cup jelly or jam (any flavor, grape or raspberry is traditional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation of the Crust
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until they resemble wet sand.
  3. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie dish to create the crust.
  4. Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden. Let it cool completely.
Preparation of the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Fold in the whipped cream gently to add lightness.
  3. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
Final Assembly
  1. Apply your chosen jelly or jam on top of the peanut butter layer.
  2. Use a spatula or knife to swirl it in gently for a marbled effect.
  3. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld.
