Method
Cooking the Shrimp
- Bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
- Gently lower the shrimp into the boiling water and cook for about 2-3 minutes, until they turn pink and opaque.
- Drain the shrimp and let them cool.
Making the Marinade
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, smashed garlic, red pepper flakes, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Marinating the Shrimp
- Once the shrimp are cool, toss them in the marinade, ensuring all are coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a jar or airtight container and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Serving
- Scoop the shrimp out, letting the excess marinade drip off.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
