  • 1 cup raw pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (for a vegan option) Use maple syrup for a vegan version.
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (or to taste)
  • 1 pinch salt
Optional Add-ins
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins Optional for added flavor and texture.
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks Optional for a sweet twist.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine raw pumpkin seeds, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Stir to coat the seeds evenly.
  3. If using any dried fruits or chocolate, fold them into the mixture.
  4. Spread the coated seeds on the lined baking sheet, forming clusters by grouping them together slightly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, watching closely for a golden brown color.
  2. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely on the baking sheet before breaking into clusters.
