Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray or parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour in the red food coloring and vanilla extract, blending until combined.
- Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Gently stir in the white chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the bars to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
