Ingredients
  

Popcorn Base
  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels Or about 10 cups pre-popped popcorn.
Chocolate Coating
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Can substitute with dairy-free option.
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon red gel food coloring For that signature color.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Optional, for extra sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cream Cheese Drizzle
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese Optional, melted for drizzling.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pop your popcorn kernels according to package instructions until you have about 10 cups.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in short bursts of 30 seconds, stirring in between.
  3. Once melted, stir in the cocoa powder and red gel food coloring until smooth.
  4. Drizzle the chocolate mixture over the popcorn and gently toss to coat evenly.
  5. If using, melt the cream cheese and drizzle it over the coated popcorn, then give it a final toss.
  6. Spread the popcorn on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow it to cool for a few minutes.

Notes
