Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 piece banana (frozen works beautifully)
Smoothie Base
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (vanilla or plain)
  • 1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) For added sweetness
  • as needed cups Ice cubes Optional, for a colder smoothie

Method
 

Prepare Fruits
  1. Rinse fresh strawberries and blueberries thoroughly. If using frozen fruits, you can skip this step.
Blend Strawberry Layer
  1. In a blender, combine strawberries, banana, Greek yogurt, and almond milk. Add honey or maple syrup if desired.
  2. Blend on high until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides if necessary.
  3. For a chilled drink, add ice cubes and blend again.
Layer Smoothie
  1. Pour the strawberry mixture into a tall glass, filling it halfway.
  2. Rinse the blender, then add blueberries, Greek yogurt, and remaining almond milk. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the blueberry mixture over the strawberry layer.
