  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2-3 bananas) Use very ripe bananas for natural sweetness.
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar Can be replaced with brown sugar for deeper flavor.
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 0.331 cup vegetable oil Can substitute with applesauce for a healthier option.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped Can use frozen strawberries if thawed and drained.
Optional Ingredients
  • 0.5 cup walnuts or pecans For a nutty touch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, being careful not to overmix.
  5. When almost combined, add the chopped strawberries and fold in gently until evenly distributed.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  2. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
