Ingredients
  

Tea Base
  • 2 cups water For boiling
  • 2 tablespoons loose Earl Grey tea Or 2 tea bags
Fruits and Sweetener
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries Hulled and sliced
  • 2-3 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste
Milk
  • 1 cup milk Dairy or non-dairy
  • cubes Ice cubes Optional, for iced tea

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the Earl Grey tea. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.
  3. While the tea is steeping, prepare the strawberries by placing them in a bowl, sprinkling with sugar, and let them macerate for about 10 minutes.
Combining Ingredients
  1. After the tea has steeped, strain it into a pitcher, discarding leaves or bags, and let it cool slightly.
  2. Add the macerated strawberries and their syrup to the cooled tea, stir gently.
  3. Pour in the milk, and if desired, add ice cubes for a chilled drink.
  4. Mix everything well, adjusting the sweetness and creaminess to taste.

Notes
