  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Adjust based on your sweetness preference
  • 4 cups cold water
  • to taste Ice cubes
  • optional Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the strawberries under cool water, then hull and slice them.
  2. Place the strawberries in a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth.
Combining Ingredients
  1. In a large pitcher, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar fully dissolves.
  2. Add the blended strawberries to the pitcher and mix thoroughly.
Final Assembly
  1. Slowly pour in the cold water while stirring, and taste for sweetness. Adjust with more sugar or water if needed.
  2. Let the lemonade sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes
