  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional) Can substitute with goat cheese or omit for dairy-free option
  • 1/2 cup candied pecans or walnuts Almonds can be used as a nut alternative
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
Dressing Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey Can substitute with maple syrup for a vegan option
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the fresh spinach under cool water and gently dry it.
  2. Wash and slice the strawberries.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  2. Optional: Add a pinch of smoked paprika for extra flavor.
Combine the Salad
  1. In a large bowl, toss the spinach with the sliced strawberries and red onion.
  2. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently massage everything together until coated.
  3. Top with crumbled feta and your choice of nuts before serving.
