Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
Cooking Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sauté the seasoned chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  3. Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking dish and keep warm in the oven.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and diced onions. Sauté for about 5 minutes until onions are translucent.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Add cheese and stir until melted and incorporated.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
Finalizing the Dish
  1. Return the dish to the oven for about 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
