Ingredients

Fruits
  • 1 piece ripe banana (frozen for extra creaminess)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
Liquids
  • 1/2 cup coconut water (or regular water/milk)
Creaminess
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (for added creaminess; can substitute with a non-dairy version)
Extras
  • a handful spinach (optional) A great way to sneak in some greens
  • as needed ice cubes (if using fresh fruit)

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. If using a frozen banana, peel and break it into chunks.
  2. Toss the banana, mango, and pineapple into your blender. If using fresh fruit, add a couple of ice cubes.
  3. Pour in the coconut water. This adds flavor and helps everything blend smoothly.
  4. Add the Greek yogurt for creaminess. If using spinach, add it now.
Blending
  1. Blend everything together until smooth and creamy, pausing to scrape down the sides if necessary.
  2. Pour into a tall glass and admire your creation before enjoying.
