Ingredients
  

Pasta & Base
  • 8 ounces pasta (fusilli, penne, or your favorite shape) Cook until al dente.
  • 1 can tuna (5-7 ounces, drained) Chunk light is preferred for flavor.
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored) For creaminess.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Adds a nice kick.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is best.
Vegetables
  • 1 cup diced celery For crunchy texture.
  • 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes For sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion For a little bite.
  • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber Adds freshness.
Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
Optional Garnish
  • chopped fresh herbs Like dill or parsley for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and let cool.
  2. Drain the tuna well in a colander, removing as much liquid as possible.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice to create a creamy dressing. Mix well.
Mixing
  1. Add the cooled pasta to the bowl with the dressing and gently fold until coated.
  2. Toss in the tuna, diced celery, cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, and cucumber. Mix gently to avoid mushing the tuna.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. If desired, sprinkle fresh herbs on top.
Chilling
  1. Cover the salad and chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
