  • 1 package premade pizza dough or puff pastry Choose your preferred type of crust
Toppings
  • 1 cup marinara sauce Can be store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Substitute with dairy-free cheese for a vegan option
  • 1 cup assorted chopped vegetables Use bell peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, and red onions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For drizzling on top
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Can be replaced with a mix of oregano, basil, and garlic powder
Garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out your pizza dough or puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Cut the rolled dough into 3x3 inch squares and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Assembly
  1. Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce on each square, leaving a small border.
  2. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  3. Distribute the chopped vegetables evenly on top.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  2. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minute before garnishing with fresh basil.
