- Pop your popcorn using an air popper and keep it warm in a large bowl.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
- Once melted, add the granulated sugar, Kool-Aid powder, and baking soda. Stir until the sugar dissolves and it turns into a glossy syrup.
- Allow the mixture to bubble for about 2-3 minutes until it starts to thicken slightly, then remove from heat to cool slightly.
- Pour the Kool-Aid syrup over the popcorn and gently fold the popcorn until evenly coated.
- Spread the coated popcorn onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let it cool for 15-20 minutes until set.
- Break the cooled popcorn into bite-sized pieces.
